Gideon Riches

Gideon Riches serves as a mentor with Y2Believe and leads the organization’s camp and retreat initiatives. He is passionate about helping youth come to know Christ, with his primary goal being to glorify God by sharing the hope of the Gospel with those navigating life’s most difficult questions. Gideon holds a BA in Theology and Apologetics and is currently pursuing a Master of Divinity from Liberty University. In addition, he works as the Youth Coordinator at West Lynchburg Baptist Church, a role that has deepened his understanding of the need for church youth groups to be equipped with apologetics to effectively reach the next generation. Gideon’s favorite argument for the existence of God is that his wife, who is tremendously beautiful and patient, chose to marry him, despite his offputting visage and generally lackluster character.
